Laugh like there's no tomorrow

Life's way to short to waste it being unhappy. So look on the positive side and just laugh.

Meetings: All Day, Everyday :)

Yes, business is business. But that sure doesn't mean we can't dress it up a bit!

Conquered Mt. Si!

Sunny weather is hard to come by, when you live in Seattle. But that's what makes us Seattleites appreciate it more.

I mean, come on, you need a little rain to appreciate the sunshine; right?!

So on this mighty fine & sunny day, my good friend, Katy, and I decide to climb Mt. Si!

The view was just as gorgeous as the day, if not better. Mind you, this was a 4 mile hike up and consequently 4 miles down. 8 miles!!

I'm not going to lie, there was one point, or two, maybe three, where we wanted to give up. But whenever that idea popped in our minds, the folks coming down would guilt us by saying 'it is totally worth it!' Not fair: you're going the opposite and much more appealing direction.

But after hearing that, you're only option is to continue on this fun hike. Boy, are we happy we did. Yes, the journey up was a tough one. Especially for two out of shape girls! But it was totally worth it and I would recommend all those are the area to give it a chance. You won't regret it!

Sweet! L'Oreal Miss Candy Collection

So I promised I would keep you guys posted about the new L'Oreal Miss Candy Collection. This is part of their Spring/Summer 2013 collection and not to mention limited edition. Those are by far the two most deadliest words to a beauty guru. Once I hear that, I know I MUST get it.

So with that said, I couldn't resist and went out and purchased some goodies...

This collection contains:

Four Infallible Eye Shadows: Dive Right In / Cherie Merie / With A Twist / Strawberry Blonde
Four Lip Glosses: Prince Lolly / Mint Ice (This name is questionable...I didn't get a good look!) / Orange Creamsicle / Short Shorts
Eight Nail Polishes: Mango Mamma / Jolly Lolly / Cream De Mint / Lilac Coolers / Berry Nice / Bananarama Love / Miss Pixie / Bubble Trouble
Three Nail Lingerie: Princes Sprinkles / Gellie Drops / Berry Bubbly

I mean, come on! With colors and names like that, who can resist?!

Don't they look lovely and not to mention irresistible?! Now here's what I bought

I absolutely love this color. It's very similar to their Amber Rush but it's more orange and obviously brighter to welcome the warmer weather. This would be a great color for when you want dress up your eye makeup. Also, I think it would look good for all skin types. :)

The other color I decided on was Dive Right In. It's this gorgeous baby blue color that would look great for the lower eyeliner. Rather than sticking to the conventional black or brown for spring, bust out the baby blue/teal to brighten everything up!

Looky Looky! Someones Got New Goodies!

Guessing by the title, you're thinking to yourself, "Chia-ning bought something new!" Well that's where you are wrong my friend, at least partially

I recently did my rounds at my local grocery/drug stores to see if there were any new products out. On my last journey, I found the ever so popular Maybelline Summer 2013 Color Tattoos. They were amazing so I picked up 4 out of the 6 colors they had.

This time, having just as high of hopes as last, I found something ... sweet. And that's the L'Oreal Spring/Summer 2013 Miss Candy Collection. Side Note: I spotted these gems at my local Fred Meyer.  I don't know if it's the same everywhere else, but Fred Meyer seems to always has the newest products first!

I digress ...

Though I haven't purchased any of these...yet, I will be sure to keep you guys posted! :)

Extreme Room Makeover

Being the true Gemini that I am, I often get bored with just about everything; terrible, I know! Now with that in mind, my current boredom is fixated on my sanctuary. My room!

Don't get me wrong, my room is acceptable but it's not great. At least it's not now I have always envisioned it to look. And it definitely isn't blog worthy so I'll spare you guys the photos. Just know that it is black and white themed with a focus on pink and mediocre furniture  to top things off... I told you it wasn't blog worthy.

I feel an Extreme Room Makeover coming my way!!

1. Beep. Beep. Make way for Benjamin Moore's Oyster Shell.
If it isn't apparent enough, I am just a little obsessed with the shade of gray. No pun intended. Gray is such an elegant color but trying to find the perfect shade is tough work and requires lots of trail and error. After looking at countless swatches, Oyster Shell was the perfect medium between full on gray and blue. It's elegant, light, and just the perfect shade for me; for now.

2. Oh yeah, bring on the Tufted Bed.
At one point in everyone's life, a tufted bed was all they wanted. Tufted furniture posses that magical power that can turn any room into an elegant one.

3. Yep, we all know and, not to mention, love the Hayworth Collection.
I'm sure this isn't an unfamiliar product. Just about every blogger or YouTuber has talked about this item or its corresponding collection once... or twice. This piece would be the perfect nightstand that is a showstopper in and of itself but still allows for the star (the bed) to stand out.
